VOLUNTEER
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the MAC! As an all volunteer-led organization, we rely on the generosity of the Macomb community to fulfill our mission.
We encourage you to attend a Volunteer Orientation Session in order to learn the ropes and meet the volunteer coordinator. These are casual, drop-in style sessions held on the fourth Sunday of every month.

AVAILABLE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
GALLERY HOST (WEEKLY SHIFT):
Time commitment: 2-3 hours per week.
The Macomb Arts Center is seeking responsible individuals to volunteer for regular, weekly gallery hosting shifts. Shifts range from 2 to 3 hours long, Tuesday through Saturday.
Job Description: Greet guests during our regular gallery hours. Track art sales and attendance. Open and close the gallery. Optional light cleaning.

GALLERY HOST (AS NEEDED):
The Macomb Arts Center is seeking responsible individuals to volunteer on an as-needed basis for gallery hosting shifts. Shifts range from 2 to 3 hours long, Tuesday through Saturday. The ideal candidate would be available to sign up for shifts at least one week in advance.
Job Description: Greet guests during our regular gallery hours. Track art sales and attendance. Open and close the gallery. Optional light cleaning.

GALLERY HOST (ON CALL):
The Macomb Arts Center is seeking responsible individuals to be on-call for gallery hosting shifts. Shifts range from 2 to 3 hours long, Tuesday through Saturday. The ideal candidate would be available on-call for all of a specific day’s shifts in case of regular hosts’ absence.

BUILDING MAINTENANCE TEAM MEMBER
The Macomb Arts Center is seeking responsible individuals to join our Building Maintenance Team.
Possible tasks include weed trimming, watering plants, light repair and cosmetic work, cleaning, ensuring ice- and snow-free sidewalks, and other, as-needed maintenance work. Ideal candidates need not volunteer for all building maintenance tasks, but should be willing to do a selection of tasks on a regular basis.
